Standing Orders made 15th September 2007

1.   The League shall be known as The Clun Valley Pool League

2.   The Annual General Meeting shall be held on the first Tuesday of September

3.   League officials to be elected at the A.G.M.

4.   The league committee shall be made up of one representative from each team who will be allowed one vote either by a ballot or a show of hands.

5.   All teams applying for membership must be within an area accepted by the League committee (Newcastle, Bishops Castle, Wentnor, Church Stretton, Craven Arms, Bucknell)

6.   Entrance to the league shall be accepted when accompanied by the fee determined at the A.G.M 

7.   Applications for league membership by new teams must be made to the league secretary accompanied by the correct fee.

8.   No fees shall be returned.

9.   Notice of motions must be with the secretary at least 3 clear days before the meeting.Minutes will be recorded by the secretary and published for members to read after each meeting. 

10.   Four committee members including the chairman and the secretary to form a quorum

11.   One representative from each team to attend every committee meeting. Fine for non attendance will be £5

12.   The treasurer and one other member who shall be elected at the A.G.M shall sign every cheque

13.   Accounts, together with all petty cash, receipts and counterfoils to be presented at every A.G.M.

14.   Amendments to the standing orders may be made at the A.G.M
